Urban Rhythms: a data-driven exploration of Melbourne's pulse

Join us as we explore and map the dynamic rhythms of Melbourne's urban landscape, encompassing its spatial, temporal, and scale variations.

This two week course invites architecture students to explore the city's bustling streets, diverse communities, and historical landmarks through a unique combination of smart city data, simulations and ethnographic research.

We'll dive into the pulse of the city, tracing the patterns between public activities, cultural movements, & urban life in relationship to space, program, circulation, and time.
